Hi Sally,
I am a friend of Tom’s from undergrad. I just edited my piece for bass and piano which I composed for my Master’s project. It was for more instruments before but I orchestrated for bass and piano.
I am applying for my DMA in composition and I would like to record the edited version of my piece Za Tatu at the end of November since applications are due at the very beginning of December.
I talked to Tom a couple months ago and he expressed interest in playing in the piece. He also mentioned that you guys perform together and that you are a pianist yourself. I thought it would be great if you both performed in this piece. If you are interested, could you send me your email so that I can send you the score of the piece for your reference?
I look forward to hearing from you.
Kindest regards,
Ivana
